In 2006

In 2006, the Coton de Tulear was accepted by the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) as a listed breed giving the breed the possibility to be part of all the dog shows organised in Canada. That modification applied in September.

In October 2006, Pirate was already a CKC Champion and the first one to have this honnor. He also did 3 group placements in 4 shows where 13 to 17 breeds was in the Group.

Pirate finished his Canadian year of showing by winning the title of #1 Coton in Canada

That was a great way to finish his show carrier.!!

Riviera followed her father's pawsteps and finished her CKC Championship in November by doing a "Best of Breed' at the biggest Dog Show in Québec, at teh Olympic Stadium

Riviera is the first Coton de Tulear Female to have her CKC Championship. She finished her year by winning the title of #1 female Coton in Canada and also #4 Coton of 2006
